MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Steve

My father was a swimming coach and taught me how to swim at the age of three, which turned into lessons for life.

I became a swim instructor at the age of nineteen and knew then this was a career that I was truly passionate about.

In my early twenties I had the privilege of teaching in Hong Kong at the International Swim School for three years.

Upon my return to Australia I spent some time in Tourism before returning to my passion of teaching children how to swim.

I had always dreamt of not only being a swimming instructor that was able to provide lessons for life, but to own my own swim centre, which i was able to turn into reality in 2018.

I have been a teacher since 2017 and enjoy it very much. I am a mother of four children who all love swimming. I teach children from 6 months old through to our advanced classes. I find it very rewarding when a child perfects a stroke or graduates up to the next level. I look forward to teaching your child.

I have been a teacher for water orientation and learn to swim since 2018 and find it to be a rewarding industry to be apart of. Having a young boy of my own I understand how important a life skill like swimming is to a child.

I endeavor to share my knowledge and experience to teach children how to be safe in and around water, gain confidence and learn swimming skills, all while promoting a fun environment.

I first became an instructor in 2014. I had always wanted to be a swimming instructor as I believe every child should learn how to swim. I have 3 children who are all involved in sports including swimming. Knowing that my children are capable of swimming confidently puts my mind at ease when we go to the beach or anything that is water orientated. I look forward to teaching your children a life long skill.

I have been working in the office as part of the Admin team at Steve’s Swim School since June 2023. I love the welcoming and inclusive family environment amongst our swim school community and my own two children are becoming so confident in the water with the help of their amazingly supportive instructors. It's been such a nice journey for us as a family.

With a lengthy background in Early Childhood Education and Development, I aim to expand on this in 2024 as I work towards completing my own studies to become a Qualified Swim Instructor. For me, childhood development and confidence is so important and being a part of their swim journey and being safe in and around water sounds incredibly rewarding.

I have been a swim teacher since 2022 and have loved every minute. I am a mother of 3 children and have been taking them to swimming lessons since they were 6 months old. I teach water orientation all the way through to squad. I also work in the office doing admin and take aqua aerobic classes for fun.

I love watching a child learn these life skills and know that I helped achieve that skill.

I started with Steve's Swim School in 2022, and have loved working here ever since! The kids i get to work with are great and i enjoy working with a staff group that feels like family, I am so proud to see hard work and development from each child i work with and it's really rewarding teaching them a life saving skill.

I started my instructor journey in 2022 after watching my two children take swimming lessons from a very young age. I am a great lover of the water and it's a pass time that I've actively encouraged in my kids.

I'm passionate about teaching children swimming as an essential life skill. My aim is to instil confidence, ensure safety, and cultivate a deep love for the water, regardless of ability.

I gain great satisfaction from witnessing the transformation of timid beginners into confident swimmers. It's not just about learning to swim; it's about fostering a sense of accomplishment and confidence in kids as they start a lifelong relationship with the water.
